Kirsty Rebecca Hall "I'd Love To... But I've Just Got A Few Things On At The Moment" 28th November - 14th December

On the Monday night of the 28th we opened Art Space Co-Curator Kirsty Rebecca Hall's show to a very warm  and emotionally understanding reception, everyone was particularly arrested by the piece "Emotional Vampire". See it before it's gone.

“ I’d Love To…..  But I’ve Just Got A Few Things On At The Moment” is a mixed material installation that chronicles the deconstructed inner workings of a frantically organised brain.

In each of the nine boxes you will see a different autobiographical element of the artist's current situation.
Some of the subjects include waging war with an emotional vampire, planning a wedding for the 11th of December, the learning and relearning of emotional and physical self management, the nightmares and day-mares surrounding stress and grief, the vulnerability of the one closest to her, unresolved reproductive-system health problems, dealing with the pressure to perform and be assessed for things that were originally intended to be fun, the endless writing and rewriting of lists, procrastination, anxiety and the inability to relax.

The Artist just wants to drink red wine, watch Bridezillas and feel better about herself. But there's no time!
